I've noticed that a certain deviant here ( :icnomistressofspam: )seems to be getting a lot of crap from the masses lately. That isn't right. And she doesn' SEEM to be to down, but y'know me, I read too much into things. But just in case there's a little down-ness, I wanted to dedicate one of my recent pieces - my first colored pencil on black paper piece in 3 years - to one of my absolute favorite artists on DeviantArt. This is, I've decided, a Dragon Eel, a different breed of eel that I decided to create just because I could. I didn't really feel like doing a traditional style dragon - you know, head, four legs, tail, fangs, breathes flame, etc. - and something aquatic with wings that are small but good enough for swimming quickly and NO LEGS seemed like fun (And I did NOT feel like drawing legs).
